The
National Black Herstory Task Force, Inc. presents the Eighth
Annual National Black Herstory Conference and Awards Banquet, Thursday,
March 31 - Friday, April 1, 2005, on the campus of Spelman
College, Atlanta, Georgia. The conference theme is: "Telling Herstory: Dance, Film,
Music and the Written Word." A combination
book fair
and
luncheon will showcase authors and books written by and about women
of African descent. The crowning event will be the Annual Awards
Banquet
to recognize the legacy of five very courageous people.

The
mission of the National Black Herstory Task Force, Inc. (NBHTF) is
to provide vehicles to chronicle and celebrate the legacy and lives
of women of African descent and their alliances worldwide. The Seventh
Annual National Black Herstory Conference is being presented to create
cultural links and sensibilities among people of different ethnic
groups while focusing on issues of healthcare and lifestyles. The
conference will include plenary sessions, a book fair and the annual
awards banquet. Please join us for a interactive conference features
presentations by grass roots organizations, business leaders, professionals
and scholars.

You may also register for the conference by downloading a registration
form or by mailing a check or money order for $55 for regular conference
registration/$15 for students or senior citizens. In addition,
all tickets to the awards ceremony (our fundraiser) are $35 each.
