The Eleventh Annual National Black Herstory Conference and Awards Banquet will focus on health related issues concerning women of color. The presentations with audience participation periods are designed to give voice to those in and outside of academia who are actively involved in the treatment and prevention of illness. The conference will examine traditional health customs and alternative health care practices. Goals of Conference The conference will provide platforms that allow a diverse group of people interested in the development of the better health care for women of color to examine issues, create strategies and action plans. The group will then be charged with taking solutions and ideas back to the communities to share with others. Participation:
